When he read the births, marriages and deaths my dad used to say "isn't it funny how everyone is born and dies in alphabetical order?"
Most of us buy a newspaper - today when you read yours, read the death notices and as you do, say a prayer for each of the families of those who have died. Their names will be mentioned in the notices.
It'll help those you don't even know.

This reminds me of my dear Mum - she would read the deaths section - then say - I'm not mentioned I must be okay for today! Its so easy to skim through the deaths sections in the paper and then put it aside if you do not recognise any of the names. What you forget is the pain each family is going through at the loss of a loved one - a simple prayer means so much at a time like this - God's love encompassing each one and helping them through this diffcult time Ev Sta

Well said Susan and will, although I suppose I do think of all the families etc when I read the deaths. I am supposed to read them everyday to keep an eye that everything has been registered...but sometimes it is hard. Im still laughing at your Dad saying about the alphabetical order...how true! x
